The TECNO Camon 15 is the latest smartphone from TECNO Mobile. It succeeds the Camon 12 and comes with upgraded specs and features. The Camon 15 series has birthed three smartphones so far, the vanilla Camon 15 which will be our focus in this post, the Camon 15 Air and the Camon 15 Premier.
We have the TECNO Camon 15 with us for a few weeks now and we will be unboxing it here. If you’re interested in buying the smartphone and curious to see what it looks like.

First off, is the standard TECNO packaging of the Camon 15 with the phone drawn on it. At the top is the TECNO brand sealing of quality. Ensure the seal is not broken when you purchase yours.
Opening the box, we are greeted with a smaller TECNO package which houses the screen protector, 12+1 months warranty tag and transparent case.
For all the accessories inside the device, we have the Camon 15 phone, standard 10W charger, micro-USB cable, a pair of Earphones, SIM ejector pin, screen protector and a transparent case.
This is the standard charger for the TECNO Camon 15. Inscribed on it is the Output: 5.0V=2.0A and Input: 100-240V~50/60Hz 400mA.
This is how the back of the TECNO Camon 15 looks like. At the top left is the rectangular-shaped camera module. This features a 48MP primary lens with AI Scene Detection and Super HDR, a 2MP secondary lens with 2cm extreme close-up shot, a 2MP lens with AI bokeh effect and a QVGA ultra night lens. Still inside the module is a quad-LED flash for taking bright and clear photos in the dark environment. To the right-hand side of the module is the fingerprint reader for biometric security while the TECNO brand name is at the bottom.
This is how the front of the TECNO Camon 15 looks when powered on. The phone runs on HiOS 6.0 skin which is based on Google’s Android 10 operating system. At the far top left of the display is a punch-hole which harbours a 16MP selfie camera.

The bottom view of the phone features a speaker grill, microUSB 2.0 port, earpiece and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Turning to the right side of the smartphone, we have the volume up and down button. Below them is the power on/off button.
This is the transparent case used to prevent scratches on the TECNO Camon 15. This casing is important especially when the phone accidentally falls from a top height.

The Camon 15 is available in Nigeria with the 4GB/64GB model retailing for around N62,500.
